Nag Tibba, meaning “Serpent’s Peak”, is the highest peak in the Nag Tibba range of the lower Himalayas (Garhwal region). Locals consider it sacred to Nag Devta, the Serpent God. The trek is famous for its 360° Himalayan views, dense forests, village trails, and snow in winter months.

It’s one of the few treks that can be done in just 2 days, yet offers grand Himalayan scenery usually found on much longer treks.

HOW TO REACH

Travelmite provides transportation from Dehradun to Dehradun as part of the package. However, trekkers can also reach the base camp independently using the following options:

By Air

  • Nearest Airport: Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun.

By Train

  • Nearest Railway Station: Dehradun Railway Station .

By Road

  • Dehradun is well-connected by road to Delhi (approx. 250 km) and other major cities in North India.
  • From Dehradun, private/shared taxis and buses regularly operate to Uttarkashi.

Tip: Arrive in Dehradun a day before the trek starts to avoid last-minute delays due to road or weather conditions.

Terms and Conditions

IDENTITY PROOF

In keeping with Government regulations, we request all guests (on single/double/triple occupancy) to carry a photo identity to present on check-in. Foreign nationals are required to present their valid passport and visa. Indian nationals can present any government issued photo identity address proof card e.g. driving license, passport, Aadhar card or voter’s ID card. PAN Card will not be accepted as the above. Also do keep handy proof of corporate affiliations, if you have made a corporate booking.

NO SMOKING

The Government of India has introduced a ‘no smoking’ rule for hotels, restaurants and all public places. This means smoking is prohibited in all parts of the campsite except in designated areas.


PAYMENT POLICY

50% payment at the time of Confirmation. Balance payment 24 hours prior to Departure.
Please note that the room/s and the rate will be confirmed subject to availability, at the time of receipt of the advance deposit details.


CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT POLICY

  • Our check-in time is 2 pm and our check-out time is 10 am.
  • Check-in Early/Late, or sleep in and check-out late, we will be happy to oblige however is subject to availability. Both may entail a nominal additional charge.
  •  If the behaviour of any guest is likely to cause distress or harm to them or others, our member of staff or other team members, our on ground Guide/Staff reserve the right to terminate their tour at any time and they will have to make their own arrangements; we will not be liable for any expenses incurred as a result. We will not entertain any claims arising in case such actions are taken by our staff.
  •  The guests are responsible for their belongings. For any loss/damage Travelmite/third party will not be held responsible.
  • Travelmite shall not be responsible for any delays or alterations in the program or indirectly incurred expenses in cases such as natural hazards, accidents, breakdown of machinery, weather conditions, landslides, political closure, or any untoward incidents.
  • We do not provide any insurance policy to cover the expenditure on sickness or accidents or losses incurred due to theft or other reasons.
  • Numerous factors such as weather and road conditions the physical ability of participants etc. may bring alteration in the itinerary. We reserve the right to make necessary changes in the schedule in the interest of safety, comfort and general well-being!

Cancelation policy

TravelMite: Booking, Cancellation & Liability Policy

By confirming your booking with TravelMite, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions, designed to ensure a transparent and seamless Himalayan experience.

1. Booking & Payment Framework

  • Non-Refundable Commitment: All booking advances and deposits are strictly non-refundable and interest-free.

  • Finality of Confirmation: Once a booking is confirmed, the full amount will be forfeited in the event of no-shows, voluntary itinerary changes, or early exits from the trip.

  • Unused Services: No refunds or credits shall be issued for missed tours, unused transport, or meals not availed by the client for any reason.

  • Promotional Bookings: Please note that certain promotional or discounted packages are strictly non-refundable from the moment of booking.

2. Cancellation & Refund Protocols

  • Strict Timeline: Cancellations made 0 to 15 days prior to the departure date will attract 100% cancellation charges (No Refund).

  • Formal Procedure: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing exclusively by replying to your original booking confirmation email at info@travelmite.com. Requests via WhatsApp, Phone, or SMS will not be considered valid.

  • Date Modifications: Change of travel dates is subject to availability and must be requested at least 15 days prior to the original departure date.

3. Batch Operations & Group Dynamics

  • Minimum Requirement: A minimum of 6 participants is required for TravelMite to operate a batch independently.

  • Operational Flexibility: If the minimum group size is not met, TravelMite reserves the right to merge/club participants with a verified local on-ground operator to ensure the trip proceeds as scheduled.

4. Force Majeure & External Disruptions

  • Unforeseen Events: TravelMite is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by government orders, harsh weather, protests, landslides, strikes, or any "Acts of God."

  • Mid-Trip Abortions: If a trip is aborted midway due to external disruptions or natural calamities, no refund or credit will be provided.

  • Pre-Departure Vouchers: If TravelMite cancels a trip before departure due to a natural calamity (e.g., earthquake, heavy snowfall), no cash refund will be issued. Instead, a Travel Voucher for the full amount paid will be provided, valid for 365 days (subject to availability).

  • Additional Expenses: Any costs incurred due to unforeseen disruptions (extended stays, medical emergencies, or alternative transport) must be borne entirely by the guest.

5. Liability, Safety & Documentation

  • Personal Belongings: Guests are solely responsible for their luggage and valuables. TravelMite and its partners are not accountable for any missing, lost, or damaged items.

  • Third-Party Services: TravelMite acts as a facilitator and is not liable for service standards or disruptions caused by third-party vendors (Hotels, Camps, or Transport providers).

  • Mandatory Waiver: All guests must sign the Waiver of Liability and Assumption of Risk Agreement before the trip. For minors, this must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
