Terms and Conditions

Before booking a trip with TravelMite, please carefully read the following terms and conditions that apply to your booking:

Advance Payment:
The advance payment made at the time of booking is strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.

Full Payment:
Full payment for the trip or trek must be completed before the departure date. Failure to clear the payment may lead to cancellation of your booking.

Identification:
Valid government-issued ID proof may be required and verified before boarding or commencement of the trip.

Booking Transfer:
Transfer or substitution of bookings is not permitted. Only the travelers whose names are given at the time of booking will be allowed to participate.

No Refunds for Unused Services:
No refunds or travel coupons will be provided for any inclusions or services not availed by the traveler during the trip.

Personal Belongings:
Travelers are responsible for their own valuables and belongings at all times. The company or management will not be liable for any loss, theft, or damage.

Departure Timing:
The trip departure time is fixed and communicated well in advance. Travelers must report to the departure location at least 30 minutes early. Delays or failure to update your Trip Leader/Coordinator promptly may result in cancellation of your trip.

Prohibited Activities:
Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited inside all travel vehicles (buses, cars, tempo travelers, etc.) to ensure the health and safety of all travelers.

Code of Conduct:
Misbehavior, creating nuisances, or disrespect towards team members, fellow travelers, or vendors will not be tolerated. TravelMite promotes a respectful and responsible travel community to ensure a memorable experience for all.

Risks & Liability:
TravelMite organizes adventure trips and treks, which may involve risks such as accidents, injuries, loss of life, financial loss, etc. The company, its agents, or affiliated entities will not be held responsible or liable for any accidents, injuries, illnesses, loss, damage to property, or claims arising from negligence, delays, or any acts beyond its control.

Insurance:
TravelMite does not provide insurance coverage for medical emergencies, injuries, loss of life, theft, or loss of personal belongings. Travelers are advised to arrange their own insurance if required.

Itinerary Changes:
Weather conditions, road conditions, accidents, or participant’s physical ability may necessitate changes to the itinerary. The company reserves the right to make such changes at any time during the trip to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of travelers.

Cancelation policy

General Rules:

• The booking amount is non-refundable.

• Refunds apply only to the remaining amount after deducting the booking fee and any applicable charges.

• All cancellations must be made via email only to be valid.

Cancellation Refunds

For Short Trips (3 days or less):

For Long Trips (more than 3 days) & International Trips:

Cancellation/Modification Rules

• Send all cancellation/change requests via email to info@travelmite.com

• Requests via phone, WhatsApp, or social media will not be accepted.

• You may replace a traveler (except for airline/train tickets) if:

  • Booking is fully paid

  • Trip departs in 7+ days

  • No transport tickets booked for the replaced traveler

• Transport bookings are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Refunds

• After cancellation confirmation, you will receive a travel credit voucher valid for 1 year.

• Refunds will incur a 2.5% payment gateway fee + 5% GST (except for UPI payments).

TravelMite’s Rights to Cancel or Change Trips

• Trips may be canceled or changed due to:

  Natural calamities / Government rules / Minimum group size issues / Operational challenges

• In such cases, you’ll get a travel voucher valid for 1 year, no cash refunds.

• If the trip is postponed, your spot will be moved automatically unless you say otherwise.

Force Majeure (Uncontrollable Events)

• Includes events like natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, etc.

• No refunds given, but full trip credit issued for future use.

• Any extra costs from changes (reroutes, stays) are paid by the traveler.

Mid-Trip Dropout

• No refunds for unused services.

• Any unplanned early return costs are charged extra.

• Dropouts may be declined if safe arrangements aren’t possible.

Code of Conduct & Community Ethics

• Zero tolerance for abusive behavior, threats, or social media defamation.

• Such behavior can lead to cancellation without refund and banning from future trips.
