Auli, often called the “Skiing Capital of India,” lies in the Chamoli district and sits at an altitude of around 2,800 meters. Surrounded by snow-clad peaks like Nanda Devi and Mana Parvat, Auli offers panoramic views of the Himalayas. In winter, it transforms into a world-class skiing destination, attracting adventure seekers from across the globe.
The Auli Ropeway— one of Asia’s longest—and the artificial lake add to its charm. During summer, Auli becomes a lush meadow ideal for trekking and camping. Chopta, situated about 140 kilometers from Auli, is known as the “Mini Switzerland of Uttarakhand.” Nestled in the Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary at an elevation of around 2,680 meters, it serves as the base for treks to Tungnath (the world’s highest Shiva temple) and Chandrashila peak, offering mesmerizing sunrise views over the Himalayas.

Kick off your journey with an overnight 14-hour drive (450 km) from Noida to Chopta via scenic towns like Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Roorkee & Haridwar. Pick-up available from Rishikesh in the morning.

How to Reach Noida City Centre Metro Station (Sector 32)
By Metro:
- From New Delhi Railway Station: Take the Blue Line towards Noida Electronic City → Get off at Noida City Centre.
- From IGI Airport: Take the Airport Express Line to New Delhi → Switch to Yellow Line till Rajiv Chowk → Then Blue Line towards Noida Electronic City → Exit at Noida City Centre.
By Cab/Auto:
Book an Uber/Ola or take a local auto directly to Sector 32, Noida City Centre Metro Station.
By Bus:
Catch a DTC bus heading to Sector 32/Noida City Centre. Affordable but slower than the metro.

Trek Cancellations
